Meet Hayden!
Hayden has always had a strong interest in exercise, sports, chronic health conditions, and physiotherapy. While growing up playing sports, he developed an early interest in rehabilitation and in how he and his teammates returned from injury. He constantly asked questions and shadowed as many physiotherapists as he could, fuelling a continued love of helping people rebuild their confidence and abilities. Helping people go from some of their worst moments to getting them back to doing what they love has always been Hayden’s goal. Above everything, Hayden would like to make sure your journey is focused on you as a person rather than solely on your injury.
Focusing on the whole person is especially important to Hayden, as he was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes before the age of two, helping him understand the mental and physical demands of exercise, training, and trying to reach your personal goals with the demands of daily life and battling with a chronic condition.
Hayden completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at UBC Okanagan. He worked as a kinesiologist in Kelowna for two years and then completed his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton in the United Kingdom. A background in a variety of specialties, including orthopaedics, sports, neurological disorders, and fall prevention. These experiences came from working in four different countries, which has taught Hayden an incredible amount about people and individualized care and treatment.
Hayden played baseball for Okanagan College for three seasons and continued to play baseball in England for the Brighton Baseball Club, who won the 2026 English Championship. He also played basketball, football, and ran cross country when he was younger. He wrote his master's thesis on identifying risk factors for future rotator cuff injury in baseball players.
His continuing education centres around dry needling (IMS), orthopaedics, sports injury, falls risks and prevention, and working with chronic health conditions. Hayden grew up in Corvallis, Oregon, and moved to Lake Country after high school to be closer to his family, and felt as though he had found his forever home. After leaving for England for three years, he is excited to return to the place he calls home. He is getting married in Lake Country in May, and he and his partner want nothing more than to live and work in the community for years to come.
